Please read these terms carefully before placing an order. By using this site or buying from us, you agree to the terms below.

Who we are

This website is operated by UptownCustoms (Pty) Ltd. Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to UptownCustoms. We're based in Cape Town, South Africa, and we sell sneakers directly to customers through uptowncustoms.com.

Placing an order

When you place an order with us, you're making an offer to buy. We'll send a confirmation email once we've received it, and a second email when your order ships. If something goes wrong on our side — a pricing error, a stock issue, or a payment we can't verify — we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in South African Rand and include VAT. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, EFT and Apple Pay. Payments are handled by our payment provider — we don't see or store your full card number.

Shipping and returns

Shipping is free on every order within South Africa. Full delivery times and tracking details are on our Shipping Policy page. If something isn't right, you have 30 days to send it back — the details are on our Returns & Refunds page.

About our products

Every pair is hand-finished, so small variations between units are normal — that's part of the character of the product, not a defect. We do our best to show colours and materials accurately, but screens vary, so the real shoe may look slightly different to your monitor.

Using the site

You're welcome to browse, share product pages, and order for personal use. Please don't copy our photography, product copy or branding for commercial use without asking us first. Don't try to break, scrape or interfere with the site.

Our responsibility

We stand behind the sneakers we sell and will always try to put things right if there's a problem. To the extent the law allows, we're not responsible for indirect losses — things like missed events or lost time — that result from a delayed or faulty order. Nothing in these terms takes away the consumer rights you're entitled to under South African law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page is the one that applies, and the "last updated" date at the top will tell you when it last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
